ESFR Sprinkler System Installed in Warehouse

Image related to news article

An “Early Suppression Fast Response” sprinkler system was installed by UK Firewatch at a warehouse in the South East to protect the storage of essential documents against fire.

The wet pipe ESFR system was divided into two zones and the pipework was fully hydraulically calculated to ensure that the system delivered the correct amount of water to the appropriate number of sprinkler heads.

There are two large water storage tanks and adjacent a factory assembled containerised pump house containing three automatic diesel engine driven fire pumps.

Concrete bases for the tanks and pumphouse, water supply infill for the tanks (including chlorination of the pipe), trenching and making good all surfaces as well as reinstatement of shrubs, electrical works inside the pump house and lagging and trace heating to all exposed pipework were included in our scope of works.
